Fire Armour Services LTD was founded by managing director Liam Riley in April 2022 with a focus that has not shifted since: install passive fire protection to tested system scope, document it as you go, and hand the building owner a record they can defend to a regulator. That is the whole job.

The business is family-run and deliberately specialist. We employ 15+ skilled operatives directly, all NVQ-qualified under our IFC scheme, with combined industry experience well over 10+ years on Tier 1 main contractor sites, healthcare estates, data centres and social housing portfolios.

Our quality system is independently audited to ISO 9001:2015. Every project is captured in OneTrace — penetration by penetration, door by door, coating element by element — with photographs, location data and product information that drops straight into the accountable person's golden thread.

The company is based from Bolton and works across Manchester, Sheffield and nationwide UK projects where the buyer needs more than labour. Our role is to interpret the fire strategy, coordinate with M&E and finishing trades, install within tested system scope and give the principal contractor or responsible person a handover pack that can stand up to technical, insurer and regulator scrutiny.

For main contractors, that means a passive fire protection package that can be planned into programme rather than recovered at the end. For facilities and estates teams, it means survey findings are turned into prioritised remedial work with clear before-and-after evidence.
